Invasion day +64 The chilling rhetoric of war ramps up day after day. It feels as if shift in balance has taken place in the last few days: pictures of an increasingly desperate Putin now having to cope with insurgency within, with fires and probable sabotage by a brave resistance movement mobilising within Russia. Attacks by Ukraine within Russian ground are again destabilising his supply and logistics plus unbelievably his army are reported as refusing to fight in the rain. Young men of call up age are reported to be leaving Russia in droves to avoid the conflict and fearing martial law on the horizon as sanctions and shortages of fighting troops and munitions hit hard.
Hence increasingly desperate moves by Putin, clearly on edge and frustrated by all the setbacks, lashing out where he can but using up his dwindling supply of cruise missiles. The pressure increases upon him daily so we should prepare for the lash of a corned beast.
We have had delays of our own in the Hoggy Office due to a total refit followed up by huge workloads after being struck down with Covid, but we will continue to post daily, however late it may be. Please write in with new thoughts on justice, peace, truth. Your voices should be heard. They can be heard here.

Today's Letters:
From Janet Fizz Curtis, Germany
Dear Hoggy,
A few more words for peace.
Keep the faith Hoggy.
Fizz.
Dear Fizz,
What amazing images, thank you for them and for the powerful words for peace; it is so: time is of the essence and it is running out.
For us all.
Putin has to be stopped and quickly now.
Peace must win.
We shall come back strongly after this lull. We are committed to supporting a second book being planned by Bryn Stowe Publications, and also to the publishing of the writings and images appearing in this blog.
We hope people will want to have their voices heard in this way and will therefore keep writing in with pieces on all aspects of peace for Ukraine and the world.
Meanwhile please travel well and safely in Germany.
Hoggy
